I have been going to this Hungry Jacks for years. It wasn’t the best but it was reliable and my orders were never wrong and always hot. In the last few months I’ve noticed a huge drop in service quality and orders taking at least 20 minutes compared to 5-10, and this is during what I thought were not very busy times. I was hoping the long times were just a one off but I’m over having lukewarm food at best.
Unfortunately, this store isn't what it used to be. I went through the drive through after placing an online order on a Wednesday night. When I arrived, I asked the drive through assistant to double check the order as it has been wrong a number of times in a row. I was asked to park. When my order was brought out, I asked if it was double checked & I was assured it was. When I did a quick check myself I noticed items missing & I let the team member know who went to collect the missing items. When I arrived home, more items were missing. The food quality wasn't great either..chips & onion rings were cold & burgers were just ok. At least the nuggets were hot & fresh when I went back to collect. In addition to all this, there was a terrible feel in the store with team members all blaming each other for the circus. Not returning to this store until significant changes are made.
Absolutely terrible place. Had to wait over 20min for a DRINK. No food included. The drink itself was fine but also an iced chocolate isn’t rocket science. Watched people get incorrect dishes in front of me as well as the irritation by people who had obviously been waiting a significant amount of time for food which mind you totalled to about 3 othersnThere was a manager and I can only assume the staff turnover as she was yelling at the younger staff members attempting to try and help. Staff don’t appear to have any idea what they are meant to be doing and obviously there needs to be significantly more training but my morale for work would be an all time low if that was how I was treated.nKFC managed to get 5x complete meals done in less time than this.nSave yourself the time and money and go literally anywhere else.
We're not busy and took them a long time to serve.nUnfriendly and stressed staff, who were observed in being unhelpful to their fellow workers. You are forced to use the ordering kiosk for cards. People using cash have access to face to face staff. Why are customers penalised for using a card.nOne of the items I ordered was a hot chocolate, it was weak with no froth on top. Chips were good. Won't be rushing back to eat there.
The owner of this location needs to pull his head in and hire more staff. They are constantly struggling any time I’m here. Pushed my drive back by an hour and had many customers waiting for ages after me who were getting increasingly more agitated.nnFor your reputation and your employees safety and general well-being, sort yourself out and put more people on. ESPECIALLY on public holiday weekends. The level of incompetence/lack of responsibility shown by the owner is unacceptable, if people have called in sick, then you need to come in and fill the gaps.
