PLASTIC COOKED INTO FOOD PRODUCT. Full Video.nn30/11/2024 - Ordered a breakfast wrap from Brookvale Hungry Jacks. A large portion of plastic food packaging was cooked into the egg product. The plastic appears to be a portion of the soft plastic packaging for the egg, and has been discoloured brown and heat shrunk as it has clearly been cooked with the egg during preparation.nnI ate a portion of the plastic, realising it was in the food after already consuming part of the wrap. Disgusting & extremely concerning food safety incident. Plastic contains toxic, cacogenic chemicals which are released when heated, contaminating the rest of the food.
I just ordered spicy fried chicken small meal just few mints ago. After reaching home. I noticed the top bun was completely burned and there was hardly any spice sauce in the burger. I have attached the image. Very careless and ignorant. Clearly over burnt and didn’t care to change the top bun but packed it . Incompetent and completely careless.
Haven't had a vege burger in ages! Sadly, the waiting turned to never-go now. Plant-based burger patty was so meat-like; I just managed to eat it as I was hungry. Sometimes people think we vegetarian miss eating meat. Soy blocks smelling of chicken/meat and so on... Staff was exceptionally friendly and the place immaculately clean.
Ordered 2 whoppers with cheese. Both came without cheese.n2 double cheeseburgers. Both arrived single cheeseburgers.nStrawberry shake arrived as coke.nLess than ideal. Disappointing at best. And ripped off for sure.nNot the first time we’ve experienced this kind of incompetence from here. But 80+% of the order being incorrect is beyond laughable.
This is the third time I’ve received sub par standard food at this particular outlet. Old cold chips and burger pre cooked an hour before and then sold to me. I’m over it and heading back to Maccas across the road. Three strikes and you’re out HJ’s! My dog wouldn’t even touch the beef patty and she eats rocks!!
