G From Phunken_Hungry  Ive been going to Hungry Hens for a year or two now  possibly longer I forget    And the customer service is excellent the food is beautiful  I have tried alot of their items my favourite Burger is The Stack.  Great Burgers , Chicken , ABS,  Wraps and Hot Dogs. Also I love the salad here especially the Potato Salad!  The meat is excellent the chips are great as well.  The Stack is one of My favourite Burgers in Adelaide.  Definitely Recommend give them a try!  Picture is The Stack  I added Jalapeños this time and was a generous amount.

I'd really like to try some other items from the menu but I keep going back to the burgers because they're that good. I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as great. One day I'll work up the courage to order a hot dog.

WoW, WoW, WoW. Love, love, love Hungry Hen's Chicken. Best chicken ever.. I have been going to this shop for 35 years and it's had a few owners in its time. The current owner has been there for well over 6 years, I can't remember when it is christened Hungry Hen.. The owner is a real good bloke, so support your local chicken shop.. Seeya every Monday week..

Not bad, but certainly better options for the price.  We ordered the Yankee Burger, Chicken Schnitzel pack and the Nuggets and chips. The burger and chips ok, I wouldn't complain but probably wouldn't rush to order again. The Schnitzel pack wasn't great as it had a strange chemical flavour to it.  Overall, it was just fine. For the price, you'd probably be better off travelling a little further to get something nicer.

Super expensive chips and gravy… I’ve never had so much salt on my chips.. over cooked and dry.

I had an order giftef to me unfortunately i was at work so 3 hours later i tried the chips cold and boy was that good, cant imagime the taste fresh! Had a falafel wrap which was pretty good too

So good, happy to check and adapt for coeliac and dairy intolerance. The chips were great, the chicken avocado burger was tasty and fresh, and I didn't get sick! Highly recommended.

We have been regular customers of this store for many years. The food is always great. I placed an order via Menulog today at 3:27 pm which was quickly accepted by the store. All of the regular notifications came through as per usual including the notification that the driver had arrived at the store. At 4:19 pm, I received a notification that my order had been cancelled. I do understand that orders can not always be fulfilled but I was a little disappointed that it took nearly an hour before I was told that my order was cancelled. It's even more frustrating that no explanation was given.

Been going here since I was a child.. must be having a rough patch at the moment being so busy! Past 3 times I have given them a chance as it's our go to chicken shop, however chips have been overcooked and 3/4 full everytime?  Not sure what's going on, hopefully they get back to their best ASAP!!

Been coming here for years the food and service is always great  For some context on why I’m leaving this review today, I saw Chicken Chef was rated Australia’s best chips so bad to try them. The person at Chicken Chef was so rude to me for no reason and I hated the chips, very oily and horrible.  Made me realise how much I appreciate Hungry Hen, food is way better quality and staff is always friendly
