Pancake Kitchen has never failed me. Always excellent pancakes, struggle not to just ...
Worst LOTF ever visited. $14 for this burger, which is not even the size of my hand, really terrible the amount of veggies on my burger.. there was free snags on the streets that were worth more than this food, as a vegan I wouldn't recommend this place. Also, couldn't close the door of the store when there is 12 degrees outside, if you dare to come bring a blanket.
I really want to love this place, but the food just isn't great. Tacos were basically entirely sauce, no mince - 2/10 BBQ Rib Roll had so much BBQ sauce - tasted like it was a dessert - 2/10 Loaded fries were pretty good - 6/10. Chicken nuggets weren't bad - 6/10 The brownie was shocking - 2/10. Overall.. 2.5 stars out of 5.
Not impressed with how the venue is presented. Came into every table covered in rubbish and sauce. Sat down and covered my jacket in sauce. I asked for a cloth to clean the table. They declined and proceeded to not clean the table properly. On a positive note, food tasted good. Haven't had much vegan food but I'd rate this pretty high. Food is good but I'd recommend not eating in Tl;Dr venue was trashy and covered in sauce. Food is good.
The spicy burger was really tasty, and although the onion rings were a little non-standard in size and appearance, the flavor was really good. Wish we had this place in Seattle! Vegetarian options: This place's menu is entirely vegan.
After trying the vegan egg and patty here and in Melbourne, I am shocked at how much better this one was. It was significantly better made and more delicious with a nice shop and moderately quick service
Waited for 10 minutes for the only staff member to get off his phone... but, he did not. Did not even acknowledge me being there. So I went next door and got curries. Dissapointing to miss out after driving 12 hours to Adelaide :
Have decided to find places that sell great chips, and came across this establishment while near the city. Their name suggests a focus on fries, there are 4 types of fries, it is more of a diner type experience. Located on Hindley street, with eat in and take away. Got a regular serving of classic chips, serving size was small for the price $6, cooked fairly well with a slight crunch. Overall average.
The food itself is really nice. If you're not real keen on salty food though, I'd give it a miss. Definitely suggest grabbing a sauce to balance out the saltiness. The chips were great, not oily or anything. Probably suggest getting it to take away as the place itself is just not a very comfy place to eat, it's very stark. Music was way too loud, especially as there were only 3 customers. Still, great vegan junk food!
Ok for vegan burgers would prefer they stop making fake meat and concentrated on nice veggie alternativesFood: 4/5
Awesome selection of plant based food. Is rather expensive, especially if you upgrade to the Beyond Meat, and add fries etc. It's very much a place to go every few months or so. The new hotdog is pretty good.
