Great store for unique DVDs plus criterion! and pretty good prices for new vinyls, with a small but solid selection of them. But went in there the other day asking if they had in stock one new record I was looking for and one of the workers behind the counter was surprisingly condescending and ignorant. I didn't respond to him similarly yet he was persistently stand-offish in response. The other, younger worker there was nice and understanding, and searched up results for me. Quite souring for what is otherwise a solid shop. And likewise no greeting or offering help from staff upon entering.
Interesting store with some good products but terrible service. Yesterday I witnessed the rude and arrogant staff member swear at another customer. I promptly left, very inappropriate. Edit to respond to Hum: Hello, I am very glad that it was not a customer! However, whoever it was seemed quite calm while your employee was the aggressor, which is what disturbed me. I hope your employee has been spoken to and there won't be any further issues. Best, Michael.
Honestly the favorite record place after moving to Newtown the vinyl selection is just so good!! Also appreciate the window showcase of the huge poster of The Car xx
Great selection of rare vinyls and blu-rays. One of the very few places in Sydney that sells Criterion Collection Blu-rays. Great selection. Kind staff too. Would highly recommend visiting the store!
Shop was not busy. No greeting or offering help from staff. Large shop. Good prices for discounted vinyls.

Amazing selection of really rare arthouse films dvds, stuff that is hard to find anywhere else. Bought Mirror by Tarkovsky the other day, amazing.
I have been a regular at hum for almost 4 years. Really great friends with the employees and great selection of vinyl.
Great range of vinyl and a wide variety of genres to go along with it. Great service, with the kind employee assisting me find and order in the record I needed. Generally, a great vibe and great place to hang out and shop if you are spending the day in newtown!
