Located around the corner from Newtown Station, the store offers a large selection of records from different genres, for every demographic! Quality customer service and the perfect record crate-digging experience has never been more masterfully created, no one does it the way Baz and the Egg Records store team does! An absolute A+ and the highlight of my day whenever I visit!

This is my first stop in Newtown on a vinyl expedition. The owner is really friendly and the bargain bins has some hidden gems. Reasonably priced vinyls and a large CD collection too.
A true old school music store. Egg has a surprisingly diverse and eclectic range of vinyl and cds on offer. It's like a collection from a small family across two generations rather than a standard offering you get from any other store.

Every time I walk in I leave with some records and a discount! This is one of the few places left still trading vinyl records, and what a nice selection it has! The shop deals mainly in LPs, although there's a decent 7" section at the end of the shop. The guy at the counter is a nice fella, despite the fact he's dealing with record nerds all day long... There also are two or maybe three collectors corners where you can find ltd. ed. and memorabilia. A place worth checking out if you like your music to be warm and crackly!
