We had a fantastic, boozy, late lunch yesterday afternoon to celebrate a besties birthday. Service was attentive, friendly and our wine glasses were topped up all the time. The food was next level, especially the oysters which were fresh and we regretted only ordering half a dozen. Overall, fantastic place and make sure you book a table.
We celebrated our 50th a wedding anniversary here yesterday. We love this restaurant so we flew across from NZ especially to have a long lunch at Hugo’s. We had the BEST time ever! The food was delicious as always and the staff are so caring, attentive and professional. We would like to thank everyone at Hugo’s who looked after us we want you all to know you made our very special day an unforgettable day! We caught the ferry from circular key down from the CBD out to manly on a cold rainy Sunday afternoon - the ferry took us right to the door of the restaurant which was fabulous given the weathernnOn arrival we were seated and we had a drink while we looked at the menu - everything looked amazing so we thought we would start with a cocktail and order a few entrees to sharennWe had the calamari pate and kingfish - all just incredible….while I sipped on a very good Bloody MarynnAfter some time we decided to order mains - as kitchen was closing for mains it was around 4pm by this stage - we ordered pizza, chicken and I had the other entree of the italian meatballs must say it was as big as the mains and I had a lovely glass of French champagne…..delightfulnnAfter our mains we ordered a round of cocktails - I had a pink lady super good before we decided to catch the ferry back - must of around 545 ish and headed back to cbdnnA very successful day - food service and location amazingnnWill be back thank you so much for such a great experience ….5 star all around !
