HS Cakes did an AMAZING job of our wedding cake! We were blown away by the quality. The service was awesome, all of the cake is ridiculously light and fluffy, and the decoration was flawless. 3 tier cakes were gone in 10 minutes everyone loved it Can't thank you enough!! Highly recommended
We ordered our wedding cake from here and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Delicious cake and amazing service! We searched high and low for a traditional cake for our traditional cultural ceremony and they went out of their way to find us what we wanted! I’ll be back for their durian cake for sure!
Highly recommended for the Durian Cake as well as the Taro cake! Soft and not so sweet cakes are good for everyone even for the young ones. A must try cake shop when you are in Melbourne.
My family & I love getting cakes from this store! Not only are the staff so friendly & welcoming. Their cakes are delicious I was in just yesterday getting a cake for my dads birthday they never disappoint. My brother ordered an ice cream cake a few months back and it went straight away same with the cake I brought yesterday! Soooo good definitely recommend.
After a hard day of work, this is my come to shop to reward myself. Love their durian sponge, their crepe cake and the ice cream!!! Get all our family birthday cakes at this shop!!! They put so much Durian in the products!! :
Go elsewhere. There are other small cake shops that deserve your business. Ordered cake for wife. She unfortunately contracted Covid. Asked to change pick up date of cake and was rudely told it will incur a fee. More than a week's notice was provided and cake was standard order, no special decorations or flavours. Completely unsympathetic, rude and greedy. Support local businesses, just not this one.

Loveeee HS cake Have been eating for 8 years. Durian sponge one is still my favorite. Durian slices and durian lace cream machi are also the best!!

DO NOT ORDER THE TARO CAKE!! So disappointed as I purchased several times from HS CAKES but this time for some reason the cake had no taste and was a struggle to finish. All my guests were also disappointed as this place has a good reputation. Had 15 guests and only a quarter of the cake was eaten because it was tasteless. Called the shop to tell them and they said they cannot do anything about it. Always in a rush, Money hungry and not customer focused at all. Save your money and shop elsewhere
