Not the usual type of store I enjoy, but I will say I am pleasantly surprised. I came here looking for a bin of a very specific size due to my unusual kitchen configuration, and this store had a massive range. Honestly, it's pretty expensive, but the items are really high quality and you can definitely tell the difference between something from here and a cheaper kmart version, for example. The service is also fantastic, and the nice lady at the counter was very helpful. Perhaps I'm getting old, but now I'm thinking about other storage solutions I can implement in my little townhouse
Went all the way to Subi with a list of items to purchase after researching their website ….. Alas, told either not in stock, not available or, ‘we don’t carry that line’!! Staff did not offer alternatives and seemed very unfriendly and disinterested. Our list value was over $1000 - the only thing we left with was disappointment. Went to Soko in Karrinyup, were served by friendly and helpful staff, purchased everything we needed plus a couple of suggested extras. Spent $1170. Will never return to Howard’s Storage, not willing to accept such poor service from people being paid to do their job!!
What pathetic service we received today. We arrived half hour after store was meant to open others were also waiting. We were told they could not open because they had no internet!!! Asked if we could browse so we could buy on line and were told no!! Well bad luck howards subiaco we went elsewhere where they look after customers and spent $500, we won't evercome back after taking extra time to try to shop in your store I read your reply and its not true. We asked to come in and browse, the shop assistant went and asked the manager if we could come in and came back and told us NO!
Extremely rude shop assistant at Subiaco store. Treated the customer before me with a smile and courtesy. I got a suspicious look and spoke to me abruptly. Won’t be going there again. Possibly racist.
I rang Saturday to hold an item I wished to purchase on Monday. Went in Monday to pick up my article to say the price was now $10.00 dearer than advertised. The assistant said their price had gone up today. Very dissappointed as it is still advertised at the old price. If the lady I had spoken to on the Saturday had told me the price was going up I would have paid for it on Saturday. Not happy
Just went in and touched an automatic bin that once closed had a sign not visible when open saying don’t touch. The short haired blonde woman straight away had a go at me to which I replied that the sign was not visible or I would not have touched it. Then I went to look at the expandable clothesline’s and chose the one I wanted and showed it to the same lady who straight away said the price might not be as marked is that even legal?. I don’t think this lady should be working with the public as I seemed to be more of a nuisance to her than anything! Bad attitude.

Won't take cash payments! I think this is the first time in my life that I have been unable to pay by cash. I understand businesses 'preferring' card payment, but to make it mandatory is overkill. Otherwise, the service in the store is excellent. I have used it for years

Extremely disappointed in my experience with the salesperson today. She was rude and condescending. It put me off ever going back to this store. While I was thanking her for going out the back to check for a part at my request, she shut the door in my face. She then told me she could get the part but it would take weeks. She read out the number of the part to me very quickly and I asked her if she could write it down. She appeared very unwilling to do so and I couldn't read it. I asked for clarification on the letters and then she was rude and sarcastic asking me if I wanted to write it down. Very disappointed as previously I have been impressed by the enthusiasm and kindness of the sales people here.
