House of chow presents a great dining experience. The food is fresh, the flavours are balanced and the menu is vast! There's a rotating glass on the table which is great for sharing dishes amongst a group of people. We ordered Shallot pancake, Thai curry prawns in hot pot, satay prawns, sizzling Mongolian lamb, black pepper chicken, special fried rice, steamed rice and stir fry green veggies. The ingredients are fresh, especially the seafood! All the dishes were well prepared and presented. Loved the food. Will be coming back to this gem of a place!
Sunday night was a full house and was lucky to get a table. Excellent high quality Chinese food. The crab with noodles was as I’d expected. The service was quick and responsive. The only weird strange thing I don’t get were the western food options; T-bone steak and fish n chips on the menu?!? Doesn’t make sense
Very welcoming restaurant with great food! From the moment we arrived we received warm and very attentive service here. After being seated next to the amazing fish tank which is a centre feature of the restaurant, we read through the quite extensive menu. We ordered the Prawn Fritters, Beef Satay Sticks for entree and the Sizzling Garlic Prawns for main with Special Fried Rice. The entrees arrived quickly which was a surprise as it was a very busy Friday night and the food was really delicious! The sizzling garlic prawns were a little on the high priced side but they did not disappoint only wish there were more of them. Would definitely go back to try out other dishes from this restaurant!
A good night, a venue where no matter what you order it all tastes nice. The staff were friendly and attentive. Looking for something that will result in a good meal and not disappoint? House of Chow delivers. Whilst not being the best of the best locations I have been to. HOC hits all the right culinary spots to keep you and your friends satisfied. Atmosphere wasn't anything noteworthy, but the other guests in the venue were all happy to be there and overall friendly and added to an enjoyable night. I'd happily recommend this venue, and will be back another time or five.
I am always delighted with my experience when I order takeaway from here. The food is outstanding and the staff are wonderful. It is definitely worth the extra cost, and I always leave with a big smile on my face. I highly recommend this place!
We were spoilt by amazing team customer service in the delivery of our group meals drinks in a very lovely busy and exciting restaurant...thanks so muchFood: 5/5
Unfortunately we won’t be returning back here the food has changed lemon chicken was mushy slightly pink, beef and black bean was chewy ordered fried rice no prawns serve of spring rolls now come with prawns nothing was said about this had to order another serve of vegetarian one the price $140 this place is every overpriced and not to mention the way the staff spoke to my child rudely and made him cry… don’t waste your money find someone else
Service was great and food generally fresh but I found the food pretty average and did not equate to the cost. It lacked flavour in many dishes and finesse. Honestly would not go back but 3 stars for ambiance and service.
Fantastic table service, friendly and officiant. Great atmosphere and had a real premium restaurant feel to it. The food was some of the best Chinese food I have ever tasted, you will not be disappointed if you dine here. Be sure to book next to the tropical fish tank if you can. Will definitely return!
Every time I eat here, I leave so very satisfied. The meals are amazing, the atmosphere is lovely and the service is always outstanding. We usually order a few dishes and share them banquet style...it’s always nice to taste a wider variety of flavors. Favorites include: Salt & pepper squid, Mongolian beef, Lemongrass chicken...anything from the BBQ meat section and of course the seafood is absolutely outstanding. You cannot possibly go wrong with any of their amazing prawn dishes. House Of Chow is definitely a favorite any time I am in Adelaide and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Order up and enjoy it You’re welcome
