I had one of the worst experiences ever at Ravesis. It was my mate’s birthday, and we had a group of 30 people ready to celebrate upstairs. However, the two bartenders working there were beyond rude, refusing to serve drinks to anyone in our group. I arrived, ready to kick off the night by ordering a couple of shots for myself and my friends, only to be treated with disrespect and flat-out refusal to serve me.nnI drove an hour to get there, had dinner at the venue, and was looking forward to a great night celebrating. Instead, I left after having one drink. I had $3,000 cash on hand, ready to make the night memorable for my friends, but instead, I walked out spending just $400 dinner for three included. The whole group was forced to leave because of the shocking attitude of these two staff members, and even the security team was stunned by their behavior.nnIf management doesn’t take action, this bar’s reputation is going to crumble. I’m happy to drive back and speak with the owner in person to point out exactly who these individuals were. They don’t belong in customer service, and I’d love to ensure they never work at Ravesis again.nnUntil I know these two are gone, this review stays up.
Booked for weekend lunch based on past reviews.nnPretty average welcome and setup. One of the chairs in our indoor table was broken. Access to dinners on the verandah was always through side of our table which always felt intrusive and kind of scary when drink trays were being carried out.nnOn the food side, very limited veg options on top of limited menu items. We had the Chicken and Lamb which were pretty average tasting. Serving sizes could increase a little though. Standard drinks offering.nnI think if flamboyant taste/cuisine is in one’s mind - better to travel away from the sea/beach towards inner and west Sydney.nnLooking at the patrons whilst we were dining there, definitely felt specific market offering. We will be exploring other parts of Bondi next time.
I can’t believe the treatment we received at Ravesis during my friend’s birthday. We were a group of 30 people upstairs, ready to have a great night, but the two bartenders working that night were shockingly rude. They refused to serve drinks to anyone in our group, completely killing the mood of the night.nnI was looking forward to celebrating and enjoying myself, but instead, I was left angry and disappointed. These two bartenders clearly had no interest in doing their job, and their behavior ruined the night for everyone.nThey have started rejecting customers thinking they were on hour group and I’ve seen all that with my own eyes.nnIf management doesn’t deal with this and ensure these staff members are gone, I will never recommend Ravesis to anyone. Your customers deserve better.
Very great experience overall! Location is fantastic, our room was excellent and spacious with a patio overlooking the beach. Would highly recommend!
Great place!! We were served by a waitress named Ella who always had a smile on her face. My fiancé and I were stuck on finding the perfect place to stay while visiting bondi but soon came to the decision of staying at hotel Ravesis, it was the perfect place to choose!! Highly recommend
