With numerous cafes, shops, and restaurants just a short walk away, the convenience is hard to beat.nnHowever, the rooms are notably small, which can be a drawback for travelers seeking more space and comfort. While the decor is modern and the rooms are clean, the limited space can feel cramped, especially if you’re staying for an extended period or have a lot of luggage.nnThe service is friendly, and the hotel amenities, such as the bar and restaurant, add a nice touch. Despite the small room size, the overall experience is positive, primarily due to the fantastic location and welcoming staff.
We didn’t stay at the hotel but had a few entrees & beer.nThe chips are good, nachos very tasty & calamari cooked perfectly. The seasoning was perfect, didn’t need extra salt & peppernnYou have to order at the counter and they bring the food out. The only negative is that the server didn’t bring cutlerynnWe brought our dog & the staff was accommodating.nnThe beer is nice & cold too wash down the food.
A $15 roast… my expectations were low.. my goodness was I surprised.. beef was succulent and tender and 3 thick slices, roast potatoes perfect,and even the green beans where just right, they had 2 dressings one was wasabi which complimented it all and the other I don’t know, but was lovely, to top it off it was served quickly by friendly and attentive waiting staff and bar staff.. if I paid $45 for that I’d have been happy, oh yes and they had Yorkshire puddings and gravy.. I will be back 10/10 well done!!!
Great location, spacey room with balcony for $$$.nnLies in their description regarding room having kitchenette plus kitchen ware when all they have on top of electric kettle plus fridge are oven with toaster along with some plates and spoon etc.
A great institution for the steak lunch, food was average but awful service. Gone are the backpackers instead virtually all the staff we saw were Indians. Rude, obnoxious and condescending.
