Bought a Dual Car USB charger for 15 dollars, turned out to be faulty, returned to Hot Dollar and was told that they cant refund it, it had been 2 minutes since i bought it, they showed me on the reciept that the charger couldnt be returned due to policy, spent 30 seconds reading it and told them that the product was faulty, there policy only refunds for fault products, not the inteded function, etc. I showed them the policy and word for word recited the point at which i was refunding, both ladies tried to refute us and attempted to serve customers while ignoring us, simply calling "Next please", I then cut her off and told her that it was rude to try to ignore us, After arguing for 3 minutes the ladies said something in foreign to each other and returned the change and a new Car USB charger port, only to find out... that was broken too and it disabled my stereo mount for the car, after inspecting the new charger, the smell of something being fused filled the car, not touching the new charger anymore. Do avoid this store for your own sake.

Great little shop always clean and tidy has loads of good stuff the prices are pretty good as well, staff are very polite and respectful.

Useless staff. I bought a phone/GPS holder/ Mount and staff didn't give me the receipt. Coming home I found I cannot mount it anywhere, in any surface. So I took it back to the shop and the shop assistant said she cannot do anything since I don't have the receipt. So I just left it on the counter desk. Bought a another one from upstairs at the reject shop, staff are much more friendly and most of the products are cheaper than this so called Hot Dollar. Even the GPS Holder which I bought at dollar mart was $9 where as The Reject shop selling them in $6 each and accepted Eftpos transaction. Please avoid this shop.

Prices are lower than similar shops. Found some good decorating items here like artificial flowers and glittery stuff.

Good prices and you can find a variety of things that help at home and outside

Not as good as some $2 shops and a little expensive on some items compared to shops outside the centre. There is better shops on the main road which is a quick and easy walk.
