Absolutely fantastic camping spot! Staff were friendly and informative even helped me with basic fishing tips in the area, places to see and do and food recommendations also. 

There was a beach within a small bay which was close enough to swim out to the Great barrier reef on a good day. Though we didn't go  snorkelling that far out onto the reef edge we did still enjoy swimming in the pristine blue waters for hours. We can also safely say there was no crocodiles or stingers spotted  while we were there as this is common to find a lot of these animals and sea creatures in some parts of the North of Queensland.

Though we stayed only one night we would like to make a trip back to this beautiful spot and spend longer there!

Went here for our honeymoon back in 1996. Would recomend the peace and quiet to any one who loves it.

We have stayed in this tiny pretty studio apartment (blue box) for a night. The accommodation was so cosy, good location to pick up groceries from the supermarket and so conveniently accessible to the horseshoe bay beach! Wished we could have stayed here for another night or two but due to tight schedule we had to move to Airlir beach. Strongly recommend this cosy town.

Wonderful place. Just a short walking distance from the beach and has nice cafe's and restaurants. Cabins are spacious and comfortable.  Will definately come back again
