We had two nights on a powered slab site. We were lucky that the sites opposite were vacant so we could park up easily, might have been a different story otherwise. The ensuite amenities were clean and very comfortable. I loved that there is space to put out your stuff out when using. The park is across the road from a lovely walking path with lots of areas for kids to play in, it even has a little water park with the big bucket that tips over. It is an easy walk to town if you want to have a meal and a drink. The fish and chip shop on the marina front served the best fish I had in ages…l.definitely recommend. Bowen is known to be windy, and it was; I imagine this would be a bonus in summer. I would have no problem in returning to this van park.
We stayed for the Easter long weekend,nCheck in process was annoying, 2pm check in and no ability to check in earlier, not notified of that when booking. Once checked in though we found the camp sites to be roomy & close to facilities.nCamp was well looked after and there is so much in walking distance for the kids to do like the waterpark and the jetty for fishing.nPool is way too cold for an enjoyable swim though and there's not enough seating at the pool area for families to catch up.nWill definitely be back though, it's convinenet and well priced.

Had a 3 day stay here. Nice quiet location overlooking the sea. We had a powered slab site but our slide out almost touched the power pole! Loved the individual ensuites, but would suggest something be done to indicate when occupied, as it is embarrassing to try and enter when someone is already occupying. We would stay there again, but would like to see the many potholes in the driveways and roads repaired.
Stayed in a powered site for 3 nights & it was great. The manager was just so friendly & obliging. Great location to town. We definitely would stay there again.
