This place should be renamed crappa! When you ask for the discretionary service charge to be removed due to inadequate food, the staffs attitude change. I also think the local authority should investigate why this business is using child labour, as it seemed my waiter was a 10 year old kid. You might think I bought a goldfish from the attached photo, but no guys, that was my takeaway soup! Rubbish service, please stay away.
Nice authentic Thai food with a good amount of variety on the menu. Service was okay but the decor could do with a little refurbishment.
Appalling food and service. Their green curry according to their menu has aubergines, basil and tofu, in reality it's watered down coconut milk from a tin, microwaved with a frozen veg medley from either Tesco or Sainsbury's. Oh, yes! And they put a BOILED CUCUMBER in it. Avoid!
Food overall was tasty and service was as should be. Price however was too pricey at over £18 for a started and a main…maybe I’m not use to London prices. Would eat here more often if wasn’t so pricy.
The food and the service is also terrible. Staring and Talking s**t about customers. Boiled cucumbers??? Boiled Broccoli???
There is a lot of discussion when it comes to authenticity of Thai food in London and there are not a lot out there. A European can provide reviews when it comes to service and atmosphere but not really about the authentic taste of Thai food. We were 7 guests, all Thai and mix of residents and visitors and tourists and we all agreed, of those Thai restaurants we know in London, Horapha is one of the most authentic and that deserves 5 stars. Atmosphere, interior and service is also more Thai than European but that won't affect the overall rating Ask the manager inside about the food and he has a story to tell about every single dish. Wanting to try something different, we took our search for food in the direction of Thai cuisine and decided to try out Horapha. The food was okay, nothing special at all, and I'd say the soup was better than the main dish. Service was actually terrible; we walked in and weren't greeted for a while, and we had to actually look for service when we were ready to order as we'd waited for 20 minutes and none of the staff were visible. Staff didn't seem friendly or accomodating. Restaurant was quite empty, just one other table in the distance; the atmosphere was quiet, odd and not the most welcoming.
Rude customer service, went with my family. The waiter always telling us to keep the path way clear with babies buggy. Then I asked how do you want us to keep it clear when there isn’t enough space. You said we can’t sit at the back of the restaurant. Put us at the front on the way of everyone. Then the waiter rudely made space by moving a spare chairs and said you can leave if you don’t like our service. Then I just walked out with my family. My son was autistic and was super distressed by the waiters rude attitude.
Delicious and authentic Thai food, we really enjoyed the yummy dishes. I had green curry and it was super delicious.
