One of the best banh mi places I've eaten in Australia. The vegetables are fresh, the meat, pate and mayo is tasty, amd the bread is as fresh as it gets, given it's a bakery in the back of the shop. I got mine with the bread still hot. Be prepared for a line up, and it's worth it.
Great food. The freshest tasting rolls ever. The only food shop in the area that has a line up the street every day. The service isn't really slow, there are just too many people wanting the good food.
I would have never thought there would be a day where you would have to wait in line to buy a pork roll, well it is when you go to Hong Ha. But it's worth every minute of wait. There is a variety of rolls but the classic pork roll is the best. There is Street and council parking, but good luck finding one. Prices are cheap.
The bread rolls are so fresh and delicious here. If you are lucky enough to get one still warm from the oven it’s just perfection. Worth going taking a flight for so you have an excuse to visit Hong Ha.
Been into this hot bread for the past 20 yrs, the quality is fair, much better taste 10 yrs ago
Visited at the end of the day. No wait. Staff not overly friendly but not rude or anything either. Had the chicken roll - sure it’s not bad but I’ve definitely had better - main issue is the chicken doesn’t have a lot of flavour.
This place is the BEST Vietnamese Bahn Mi in Sydney. The wait might be long but it is definitely worth waiting for. Go here if you crave a excellent Bahn Mi.
Be prepared to wait in a line of forty people or more but OH MY LORD best banh mi I have ever had hands down. Got the chicken schnitzel and a bag of fresh baked rolls still hot from the oven. Amazing!
