Story

Homemaker is Taranaki’s leader in the supply of Curtains, Blinds, Soft Furnishings and an Installation service. With a long history in the industry, we have the expertise and ability to undertake all aspects of curtain manufacture – from the smallest window to the largest commercial installation.

We have the largest range of fabric samples in Taranaki in our Showroom at 300 Devon Street East, New Plymouth. We also have a Showroom in Hawera at 170 High Street. Our instore and mobile Consultants are happy to help you choose from our large range of Drapes, Sheers, Voiles, Linings, Tracks, Finials, Roman Blinds, Roller Blinds, Venetian Blinds, Vertical Blinds, Outdoor Awnings, Cushions, Throws & Bedding.

Our Consultants & Installer do a round the mountain run every week.

We also keep a large range of componentry in store for when you need those bits & pieces for your curtains, tracks and blinds like; hooks, glides, tape, end caps, brackets etc.

We make all our drapes in our on site sewing room in New Plymouth. We have a professional team of six machinists who pride themselves on quality workmanship.
