Story

The Eltham Timber and Hardware business was purchased by Rob Deylen and family in October 1974. In those days there was only a small shop area. In summer, the yard was a dustbowl, in winter; a mudheap. There was no forklift and all cement was unloaded by hand. In 1995 the whole premises was revamped and renovated. This resulted in a much larger shop area and a large undercover timber yard. It was at this time that the business entered the ‘Home' group.

Hi everytime I go to get something at this location, the staff is very helpful. Yesterday I went to get a specific light globe, a lady at the counter attended to me & was able to find the right globe. I came back home & replaced the globe! Thanks again ¡

Hard to get in and out if due to the only entrance and exit being on a main Rd without stop lights or give ways, but great specialty items and best in the area for all your timber needs
Good local business with great service which I'd highly recommend. Tried to buy a few polycarbonate roof sheets from Bunnings and they refuse to sell although regular customers are not able to purchase it online. No issues at all with Eltham Home Timber and Hardware! Will definitely be back to support. Thanks Ben for the excellent service!
Thanks to Ellen & Ben for looking after me, what I wanted was not in stock. Within 24 hrs I got a phone call to say that the product had arrived. Ellen took the time to set it up and demonstrated to me how it worked. Service was fantastic, Would shop here again to support a local business. Thank you guys.
