A Refreshing Approach to your Pet’s Healthcare...

Integrating conventional veterinary medicine and surgery with alternative therapies to regain and sustain long-term optimal health for our patients.

Established in 2003 by Dr. Liza Schneider, Holistic Vets makes use of the best of both worlds. Our broad approach addresses all issues, from basic veterinary care such as vaccination and nutrition to chronic ongoing conditions.

Client communication is a priority as a range of options may be presented. It is of utmost importance that our clients make an educated decision as to which path they are comfortable pursuing within their care and financial constraints.

Our intention is to get to the root of the problem, taking into consideration many factors, as well as supporting your animal's health by providing the most effective and least invasive treatment plan possible.

Fantastic Team, always so kind, compassionate and professional. Could not recommend highly enough! Always a comprehensive consultation and a lovely environment to take our fur babes - from feral kittens to crazy pups and a large anxious pooch too!
Wonderful Vets and Service! The professionalism of the team there is excellent! We had our 16 year old family dog put down and the whole team showed the most kindness and sympathy throughout our ordeal of loosing our beloved girl! They arranged the cremation and she was back home with us within a week. I also recieved a lovely card from the team at Holistic Vets which really made my day Thank you so much! I took my Gucci there for her WOF Friday 29th and again cannot fault the service of the vets with the care they put in and show towards your pet! Liza has a fantastic practice and team!
Genuinely the best vets I have had. The team at holistic vets are the best, they are kind and loving to our pets. We have had a few rough times with our pets but the staff are so great at making us feel like our pets are so loved and important. Thanks to Lisa and her staff...
I couldn't rate this place high enough. The level of love, care and respect these people have for not only animals but also their family. I've been coming here for 3 years and have never once faulted them. Recently we had to put our beloved boy Merlin to rest. Lisa made sure everything was comfortable and that she could pass with ease. Holistic vets listen to your needs and do their upmost best to achieve the best result and outcome for your animals. Definitely worth more than a 5 star review in my eyes and definitely a clinic worth visiting with your beloved furry friend.
Amazing vets, caring and thorough. Having both my dogs here I always know I'm getting great advice and care for them. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
High fees and no results. Staff are friendly enough, no real issues there. We took our cat in as our usual vet was unavailable at short notice. He got a usual check up, so far so good, then we were left alone in the stuffy consult room while they did bloods and decided what to do for the better part of an hour. He was then returned to us and we were charged almost $300 and given no answers, but told to bring him back in the morning if he wasn't better. He was worse in the morning sorry we fibbed a little bit team, but there was no way we were taking him back to you. He's been with Welcome Bay vets for the past three days & is back to his happy healthy self. That 3 day stay and treatment cost less than the hour of your time. Do better please.

Wonderful caring Vet Practice. We have now changed our cat's records over to Holistic Vets permanently.
SAVED our dogs LIFE when standard vets practice could not! Our 14 year old had a collapsing airway. Steroids only made her hair fall out. Breathless hacking cough remained! Surgery with a 20% chance of success was toured as the only option. The natropathic drops given by holistic vets have made her like a pup again. No more hacking cough, no more breathless wheezing. We go walking again!
Phoned as we found a wild bird injured, Holistic vets took it in to make sure it is fine, by following up the next day, birdie was alright Friendly staff
