By far the best leasing experience I have ever had!! Everything was so well organised, from lease paperwork to condition reports. Nathan Ricardo is my property agent & he was so flexible and understanding in terms of adjusting with my schedule when I was getting onto the lease. He is an extremely cooperative agent who is happy to help when needed! I highly recommend the team over at Hodges Geelong when renting or leasing any property. They have maintained incredibly high standards in terms of customer service & communication the entire time, & the staff are always professional, friendly and happy to help.

Marcus͏ was outstanding & we had a great result. He went above & beyond with his customer service & was attentive speaking to us about the sale / auction process & our concerns which was very reassuring considering it was the first time we had gone to auction. Throughout our dealings with Marcus & the team at Hodges, they were extremely friendly & helpful & made the sale of our house a really pleasant experience and I'd highly recommend him to anyone selling in the Geelong region.

Great service provided by Nathan Ricardo and the Hodges team managing my Geelong West rental property over the last 6 years. Appreciate the quick turnaround between tenants and their efforts managing and resolving issues as they arise. Highly recommended.

I would strongly advise against renting with Hodges Geelong as a tenant or landlord.  Correspondence with Hodges is extremely unprofessional. For a company that has 'relationships at the forefront of everything we do' the lack of ability to return emails, phone calls and action URGENT repairs is uncanny. Emails asking for updates or any information regarding urgent repairs went seemingly ignored and brushed aside. For those who are unfamiliar, urgent repairs are to be completed within 14 days. Not ignored and completed after 10 months.  They had numerous errors with their rent withdrawal system that had to be chased up by us as tenants nearly every month. Taking out rent earlier than the contract stated and attempting to withdraw MORE than the contacted amount. They also attempted to withdraw rent TWICE after our tenancy had ended. These errors eventually resulted in our rent being overdrawn, which took MONTHS to be refunded after our tenancy ceased. It also took a minimum of 5 emails and numerous phone calls that went unanswered requesting an update or any information at all about when we would receive the rent they overdrew.  Simply read the reviews outlining similar experiences below, as these paint a very telling picture of how this company views and treats their clientele. They clearly seem to care about their ‘online reputation’ more than providing people with secure and safe housing. Avoid Hodges at all costs

Was in the process of renting a property through them. Initially put in for one property, then just got emailed they transferred my application to another property no idea what happened with the initial property. Was informed in the email the property would be at the same rent as the initial one, $450/week as opposed to $460/week. I initially received an email stating congratulations to someone else for being approved, followed by one that just said "sorry". Felt like I'd been kicked in the guts. When the girl in the office calculated a fortnight value she calculated $922.50. Apart from it is not double the weekly value they were using the wrong weekly rate. She quoted "every real estate agent in Victoria will calculate the same value". When I visited some other real estate agents they didn't calculate the same value. Good luck if you risk using them,  I would rather sleep on the street

So bad that I’m gonna leave a review  I find it so funny that Hodges reply to peoples bad reviews saying that they care about how others view them and to contact them with their issues… because maybe if they actually replied to tenants emails and calls WHILST THEY WERE RENTING WITH THEM they might not actually have so many bad reviews.  I rented with them and they would just ignore our emails, ignore our calls, ignore our requests for nearly a year to fix a broken window. But of course they would email us all the time telling us to pay the rent when we had ALREADY PAID numerous times.  If Hodges actually cared about how others viewed them, they could start by replacing people like Nathan Ricardo with people who will actually do their job and communicate with their tenants.  If you are a renter AVOID HODGES AT ALL COST!!!!  PS. Very funny our landlord gave a 5 star review after my roommates left their reviews. Shows you all you need to know about what they consider a job well done. PS Again: Annoyed that 1 star is the lowest I can give. That don’t even deserve that!!!!!!

Jeff Begg did an amazing job of selling my townhouse. He gave me time to prepare the property and was a good negotiator on my behalf. Fabulous agent who was professional in every way.

A tenants nightmare. Our property manager at the time of our tenancy, Nathan Ricardo, was an absolute headache to deal with. Never responded to emails/calls and if he did it would be months later. We were dealing with maintenance issues in the house some of which were actual safety concerns that went ignored for months. They would withdraw rent at random times of the month then email us saying our rent was late when it wasn’t even due, this happened multiple times and we had to follow up every single time to get this fixed. Disorganised, lacked any care, and completely unprofessional. There’s so much I haven’t even added to this review that they did which made our tenancy so unnecessarily stressful. Never. again.

Excellent! Marcus͏ and his team are professionals, in every way.  I respect Marcus and his Team at Hodges.  Their can do attitude, kindness and understanding of all situations. In my opinion the best people for the job.
