On my recent subdivision, with a recommendation and in good faith, I hired Barry to connect my new green dome to my home. When the job was completed??? I twice contacted him to ensure the work was finished as my meter box did not look right. The first time he told me he would check that Western Power had disconnected from the old dome and connected to my new dome. The second email reply was that it should be all finished. These email were in May and June 2020. The subdivided block was sold so I could only presume Barry had done his job. Work commenced on the new house in January 2021 and a workman could have lost his life when digging to put in a soak well hit a live wire.fortunately with a digger The live wire was the main power line from the OLD dome to my home. Western Power told me Barry had not informed them that the disconnection and reconnection needed to be completed until the day the live wire was hit. Not only did this endanger someones life but cut my power for 24 hours. Barry will not take any responsibility for his incompetency or the fact he was paid in full for a job he did not complete and the owners of the block were charged for the labour of the workman who had to leave the site as well as the cost to have an electrician attend the site to cut of the power that should have already been disconnected. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BARRY TO ANYONE !!!Service: Installation
