The best high tea experience we’ve had in Wellington - and we’ve been to many, many high teas! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was great too.
WOAP plant based high tea with bottomless premium fig and rise, peanut brittle and organic lemon tea, absolutely divine!
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on this particular trip , I had dinner there 5 years previously and honestly the French chef at the time was amazing !
When we arrived, we were offered the opportunity to have a cocktail, which we accepted. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the different kinds of gin and other drinks, and our drinks martini and rose` were superb. Our meals were exquisitely prepared and were delicious.
Standards completely slipped. Breakfast buffet was out of key items at 9am. Waited 30mins for coffee that was then spilt. Had to go up and ask for a menu. Omelette arrived with rock hard sour dough toast with no butter. Service was non-existent.
We were here on a Wednesday afternoon and had a lovely tea time. The food was delicious and the tea was even better. Decent view. Worth a visit if you have the time.
