Great little campsite in beautiful setting, only 15 minutes from nugget point do super convenient if you wanna be close for sunrise as no freedom camping available close by. Owner is super friendly and helpful would definitely recommend this site.

Used it as my base on the 23rd dec '17 to get to nugget point, cathedral cave, and pūrākaunui falls.

Had a tentsite facing the paddock, the grassfield were green, clean, and spacious. Though it was summer it wasn't crowded at all. Owner was friendly and made us feel really welcome. You'd find free rubber by the counter, which i thought was humorous.

- Toilets and $2 hot showers available were clean enough.
- Paid Laundry and dryer available for use. Also, clothing lines w/pegs if you do not wish to pay for dryer.
- Kitchen did not have a stove but had a microwave, oven, and fridge for use. But somehow there was a portable cooking stove around that someone left behind which we could use. Do bring your own cookware.
- Drinking water from the tap was available

Amazing quiet place, don't use the cabin if you are a wrong sleeper, bit noisy

I stayed with a tent here. Big space and amenities well conserved.
Quiet people. Good for rest.
They also sell food and drinks, at a good price :D

Cool campspot! Green and flat. Hot shower for 2$. Clean toilets.
