I was really hoping the positive reviews were accurate as it's seems suprisingly difficult to find good fish and chips in Fish&Chip shops. Unfortunately it was no different here. Chips tasted like old oil and a third of them were either burnt or all dried up. The fish itself was fresh but it was barely crumbed and the crumb barely cooked. It was a quick and cheap feed but I'd rather pay double and get a nice meal that doesn't make me feel yuck after.

What a find. Went to Grey Street but it was lights out so found Hillcrest and trust me, go there super fresh fish crumbed snapper and well drained chips. It's a 10 out of 10 from me! Go for the banana fritter it is super.
Top quality local fish and chips with a great selection of stir fry dishes as well.
Best fish and chip shop ever. Fresh fish and perfectly cooked. Very efficient and order is always ready when they say it will be. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Always fresh and tasty in my opinion. Quick tip: if you order in person or over the phone instead of online, it will be cheaper.
