50 stars to Sam not Jo, sorry and Carrol at Hertz in Gisborne for helping us getting home when airNz canceled all flights after flying 100.000 people out of Auckland without helping anybody to get home... These two girls made our day and went through a lot to make it happen, thank you so soo sooo much, you guys are superstars!!! Fantastic service, cheers!!!

Paid before taking the car as agreed and still managed to blame my bank for freezing the payment when I paid on the spot. On the fine print it’s says bond fee of $200 will be frozen till you return the car. But this is Too much hassle for me to go back and forth so take the extra 1200 on top of the 1600$ I paid inclu insurance  and good feed your fam. Would never recommend these guys from gisborne! Also Thank you for the wonderful car but next time if you really need the money just ask don’t be a fraud, it will catch up to you one day.

nice car.  but be very careful when collecting to read all the small print, even if a long queue of people waiting behind you!  otherwise they will sting you with lots of optional extra fees extra driver etc.  also, the only way of paying without incuring a fee is cash - no eftpos!  frankly, i will avoid this hire company in the future and would not recommend them.

Friendly staff and very helpful about routes and road conditions. Quick to get your hire car sorted too.

We regularly have Hertz vehicles  great Highlanders and Land Cruisetlrs, great service, cheers.

Wanted to rent a car but the vitriol I received in the car park from their front desk representative was enough to put me off Hertz in Gisborne.
