If there are 0 stars I would give it to them. I rented a car in Gisborne and gave it back in Christchurch. I had an accident without my fault. Avis took 4200 NZD from my visacard which they were allowed to do but they did it 4 weeks later without informing me no email, no telephone call. When I found it on my bill I called Avis. It took several calls over an hour to get informations. After 6 weeks the car has not been repaired yet. And now 10 weeks have passed and all the papers are not yet done. Christchurch blames Gisborne and Gisborne tells to call Christchurch. I dont have my money back and my insurance still works on it. Never ever with Avis again!
