Would strongly recommend the Heritage, 4 of us adults stayed for 2 nights and we cannot speak highly enough  of the owners, staff, rooms and food.
The rooms and the grounds are kept spotless by Warren, Kerry and staff. Warren and Kerry and staff are very friendly and go that extra mile to make sure the stay is extremely pleasurable. The food cuisine at  the Cattleman's is second to none, we all totally enjoyed the service and the great food. Warren and Kerry also own the Farleigh Tavern just north of Mackay township and  we are patrons there as well,  Josh, their son runs the Tavern and we believe that the Farleigh is Mackay's best kept secret, spacious and friendly with a relaxing atmosphere, very good service, motel rooms are quiet and clean.

Large, very clean and tidy 2BR family unit - seems quite new.
Comfortable beds. No extra charge for a cot.
Well maintained laundry, reasonably priced.
Located right next to the Big4 caravan park on the outskirts of town, overlooking their grounds .
Small, very cold swimming pool.
The kids play equipment out the front was old, damaged and falling apart.

A beautifully kept room with a freshly tiled bathroom. There was a HUGE parking area, safely located near our room, on good level ground for our oversized vehicle. The owners , Warren & Kerry were super helpful & friendly. They offer a fabulous meals service,  delivered to your room, hot, fresh & yummy. The Charters Towers Heritage Lodge is well located and we recommend it highly. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The rooms were exceptionaly good large and roomy and very clean price was reasonable at $110
