Playgrounds good fun. The steps are very steep onto the main raised area, most kids just make their way up the climbing walls. Under cover is great, water feature good to cool off in. A wire mesh net enclosures upstairs play areas, has nipped a few kids.
Spacious playground for kids of all ages. Gated on the road side but also big enough to follow your kids around and inside the playground if you want to keep an eye on them. There's a water feature as well supposedly it's not meant to be on between May-October but it was on during a Saturday in May so kids could potentially end up with wet clothes. Huge circle footpath kids can ride their bikes/scooters around on and plenty of shade on the playground and around for parents to sit with picnic blankets.nnNot many parks I think but we parked at a friend's place nearby and walked over.
This park is a fantastic spot for families and anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The playground is shaded and thoughtfully designed, featuring a rubberised hill with tunnels and slides, making it both fun and safe for kids. There are also swings, climbing structures, and a half-court basketball area. For those who enjoy staying active, the park includes an outdoor exercise gym with various equipment. The open lawn areas are perfect for picnics or just relaxing, and there’s a dedicated off-leash dog park nearby for pet owners. Facilities like shaded seating, BBQs, and public toilets add to the convenience, ensuring a comfortable visit. Whether you're planning a family outing or a solo visit, this park offers a welcoming and well-equipped environment for all.
Fantastic park. Great open space, very well shaded, lots of picnic tables of open grass spaces for a picnic & hours of entertainment for kids aged 2+. Our toddler, who had just turned 2 a few months ago, still thoroughly enjoyed her time! So yes, still lots of fun for younger kids with adult supervision at all times of course. Bathrooms within close proximity & a small BBQ area also. There is also a basketball court and small outdoor gym area; this place really is one of the best in Brisbane!
This park is awesome. We drove out from GC one afternoon, got there a little after 6pm and the water play feature was off, couldn't find a time stating when it would turn off so didn't get to do that for the kids but next time will go earlier. Really pretty area with big tables and a lot of bench seats. Agree with others saying there is hardly any parking too even at night. Great shady areas and just wish the toilet doors were on the other side of the building facing playground, would make sense for safety. Still gets 5stars from me.
