They have built a new shed for the shop, much more spacious now and laid out really well.
I love a good op shop!! There is nothing more satisfying than rifling through someone else's trash to find an exciting second hand new bargain!nnI was NOT disappointed by Helensville Zero Waste!!nSo many great bargains, and really good prices too! Not overpriced at all like many other op shops.nnWas absolutely gutted that the beautiful old antiques up top aren't for sale, because I would have emptied my bank account and filled up the boot!!nnWill absolutely be back to find some more bargains and perhaps sit in the arm chair while perusing the book collection!!
The new barn is light and airy, always a good selection of all sorts of recycled goods, all grouped together e.g. sporting goods, tools, garden, bathroom, kitchen. I was looking for a ball thrower for the dog, and found one complete with tennis ball for five dollars.
Its a very helpful place for my recycling materials into my art painting works. I get so excited looking for what I can find, its an experience I am fond of whenever I'm in the area. The staff are friendly and smiling and treat me like the art professional I ams , looking to recycle doilies, bits of machinery and pieces like that i can use to stencil . Here is an example .100%
Love this place. So many eclectic items in the shop and many interesting building products in the yard. Very friendly and helpful staff too
