Hector's Cafe on the Wharf

Relatively expensive, average food, slow service. We sat down at 12, waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken and were then told ‘ you need to be gone by 1’. Nice. One waitress then took it on herself to give me a lecture on my choice of make up. Wow. Owner is a nice guy though.

Only a short walk from the Cockle Train which runs from Victor Harbour to Goolwa , with a great selection of food and a nice view of the Murry River

Food sizes were small for the price and lacking in flavour, more like a basic pub meal. You would pay the same prices for food in a high-end restaurant in the city. However has a nice view and good service.

Nice place and friendly staff. The only think is we were not offered water and when we asked it was not delivered

Once again we got a fab experience yummy duck spring rolls great prawn, pipi home made pasta, fresh flathead and the best tender salt and pepper calamari, with a few wines coffee no room for dessert!! Nice friendly efficient staff! see you again soon. Thanks Grantley & Monty.

Had a takeaway coffee and it was really disappointing, the service almost seemed reluctant as well. The view looks nice and the food sounded great, but we won’t be heading back.

Lovely place on the wharf and the people are beautiful. Great food! 10/10.

Friendly staff, great location and delicious hot chips

20bucks for a slider and small handfull of cold chips! Pretentious plus.
