Having had the world worst immunity, severe anxiety with heart palpitations going out of control, and stress levels going through the roof I decided after trying pretty much everything else with minimal success to give the acupuncture and Chinese medicine a go.
I committed myself totally, thinking I'd do as instructed for 6 months and then revise. I went weekly, took some disgusting tasting powder, ate bone broth and did a few other things that were suggested. 
After about 2 months I improved and they said you don't need to come in as much. It's been 3 months since my last visit. The heart palpitations are gone, stress levels down, anxiety has popped up about 3 times compared to constant. The most exciting part for me is that I caught a cold on Tuesday and was recovered enough to go for a 5 km run on Saturday, not Saturday the same year, or even Saturday of the same month but Saturday the same week.  A Cold gone 4 days after catching it? Completely unheard of for me.
I'm the person who catches anything within a 100 mile radius and then have a lingering cough and tiredness for a good month after catching something.
It has certainly worked for me so I would recommend giving it a go, but do it properly, hold your nose and gulp, or get them to adjust the powder if it is undrinkable. Worth a try for sure.
