I’ve been to Heading Out on Bourke a few times and this was my first visit to Fitzroy. Love this place! Super friendly and very skilled staff! Enjoyed the experience and loved the cut I left with. I had Helen and after a bit of chit chat she knew what I wanted, what suited and it all fell into place so easily. Will definitely go again to Fitzroy

I haven't found a place and hairdresser I trust in years until I came to Heading Out! Helen was fabulous and did an amazing job of my cut - she spent time to talk about what we would do, and what exactly I wanted, and made sure I left feeling happy with the cut. Also a very lovely lady which made the experience super relaxing and enjoyable. I would recommend Helen to all my friends and will 100% be returning!

Walked in off the street without an appointment. Had been feeling crappy about my hair after a previous haircut, didn't have to explain much before she knew exactly what I wanted and cut it perfectly. (Mid neck wavy thin hair) She was down to earth and made me feel comfortable (I'm not much of a talker) and I left the salon feeling great. If I lived in Melbourne I would definitely go there again. Thanks Zoe!

This is long overdue but I came here a few weeks ago walking by late at night hitting the town to network with a few important people. My friend noticed that I had missed a very visible bit of facial hair while shaving, and I promptly entered this salon offering money to shave it off. The employees were extremely warm and welcoming, sat me down and gave me the full treatment re shaving all the spots I missed, and after I was about to pay he refused payment and said it was good will gesture. This represents the true quality of the employees working here, the high standard to which I was treated was fantastic and we had some good banter too. I highly recommend this business.

Love going to Heading out! It is exceptionally hard to find a good hair dresser, and Helen does a wonderful job everytime I go in and I wouldn't go to anyone else again...! I was brave enough to trust Zoe with fixing a botched hair colour at another salon recently, and she was so understanding and actually listened to what I wanted. Could not recommend this salon more!
