Story

Head Dental laboratory is a family operated local business servicing the Dental Profession of Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. The Head family has provided dental technical work since 1952 when Tony Head began his trade in Toowoomba. Now three generations on, the same dedication to ethical standards and service are still at the core of our operations.

Chris, Kathy and Alex Head continue to deliver aesthetic solutions for today’s discerning dental patient with the latest in modern techniques and materials across the fields of removable prosthetics, crown and bridge and implant supported restorations .
At a time when dental technical work can and is outsourced to low cost Chinese dental factories, It is reassuring to know what can be produced right here locally in Toowoomba by our own locally employed and trained craftspeople delivering a standard of service and convenience which can only be provided by locally based dental technical professionals.

Removable Prosthetics - At the heart of our removable prosthetic solutions are skills learnt over many years of denture construction. These basic skills have been enhanced by the latest technology in Injection acrylic polymerisation which has elevated the craft of denture production to new standards of precision and quality. Injection under constant pressure produces a product with practically no dimensional change in the acrylic base, resulting in a level of fit and strength far superior to conventional techniques. All prosthetics are individually hand crafted to the standards of the BPS protocol. (Biofunctional Prosthetic System)
