Tried to book an emergency appointment, but the receptionist was rude and unwilling to help. Eventually, managed to book an appoint. After I arrived, the dentist told me they couldn't do anything about my teeth pain even before they checked anything or asked what happened. After 5 mins of checking, they asked me to go back in a month since my pain wasn't severe enough to keep me up during the night. I asked the dentist if it would be too late when it really comes to that. She said, "What can you do?". Seriously, what kind of dentist is that. Never going back there. I would give 0 star if I could
Bad experience. Booked an appointment for myself, husband and son 4 years old for check up and clean several months in advance. They insisted we needed to be there for over 3 hours. Confirmed appointment the day before by text. They messaged me in the morning to say that my appointment had been changed to a time I couldn't attend. Waited on hold for ages to speak to them. They told me that if I couldn't come, then I should just cancel. no explanation or option to have the appointment at the time I had booked. I advised I would cancel appointments for the whole family and they magically found time to fit us in at the original time. I specifically asked to see a dentist, not a hygienist - they still booked me in for a hygienist. Thinking of changing health care provider because of this bad experience. Over servicing, rude telephone manner, lack of flexibility, long hold times.......
Tried to get through to make an appointment for 2 days after cracking a tooth off. Nobody picks up at chatswood, left an optional message in the morning for a callback. Requested a appointment online yesterday morning no response, calling chatswood today again, message box is full, nobody picking up. Hcf dental lift your game this hurts
Have never had such a poor experience at any dental clinics. The centre had very basic amenities with no proper rooms seperated by dividers, I felt crammed and uncomfortable in the space. The dentist who saw me was stand offish. I visited the dental Centre due to a toothache - he administered anaesthetic to my mouth however only cleaned around that one tooth instead of taking the opportunity to do a general cleaning. Also didn't bother to tell me why I had the toothache until I probed. Will never visit again.
I've seen two different dentists here for check ups and both were very warm, friendly and professional. There were some problems with the equipment the second visit, but the dental nurse just cleaned manually instead. Each time I've been was with my two young daughters and everyone was great with them as well. The people at reception, are warm and helpful too. It's not the Ritz but my family is covered for two check ups a year and we are in and out without paying a cent out of pocket- and prevention is better than cure so I'm a very happy customer.
Terrible experience. Booked HCF Dental Chatswood for an emergency visit due to toothache on Friday 3rd of January. Dentist deemed the toothache/pain not an emergency and was advised I had to re-book. Emergency booking was a waste of time and gave me the impression of the place running to meet quota rather than service. Managed to get a booking the following Monday for tooth extraction. Tooth extracted was the wrong tooth. Been with HCF for almost 20 years and the appalling experience is making me think about changing health provider.
Not good service!! Went there 40 min before 5pm for the check up and clean for the first time. Waited about 15min which is fine. But the check up was very brief and the clean was even shorter. The clean was pretty much done in 5-10 min. The Xray time feels longer than the clean itself. The reception was rushing to head off when it was just 5. When the Xray result is requested, they tried to push it to the next day. As the consign form is required, I quickly finished the form and they promised to email the result the next day. One week later, I still haven't receive anything from them after phone calls. Rather go to the local dentists who could take care for their patients' dental heath !
Consistent great experience in years. Dr Veronica Oh, the only reason we're still with HCF in context of getting discount offer from other health insurance. She's the best dentist we ever had, very thorough, efficient and friendly. Daniel, best customer service experience, treating customers more as a long time friend instead of just generic hospitality.
terrible. 10 mins to clean my teeth and charged $150 from my extras. I was really looking forward to getting a thorough teeth clean my first in 12 months and was horrified they think 10 mins is OK?? then after I complained, I went back again and they took about 20 mins... Avoid going to Chatswood total waste of time and money. I've been with HCF since 21 and I'm now 32 and this experience has made me want to change providers
Think twice before visiting HCF dental. It maybe minimal hassles & lower cost but the dental service is dodgy. I started with a regular decay to a tooth that was drilled too deep then worse of all have pulp cavity filled with filling that's not supposed to be there. I was left in pain for over a few days & wait to see another specialist in HCF to be told nothing can be done with the pain until the next scheduled appointment, which is 2 weeks away. It's unexceptable to leave people in pain. In the mean time, I have to find another dentist to look into this sore tooth caused by HCF dentist; after 45 mins of work only be told the tooth can't be saved because too much has been taken away previously & ended up with an unexpected tooth extraction.
