Can I just say that the pink benches are super cute!!! Went on Easter Saturday and they were opened and packed! Food was incredible. Presentation and food was amazing.
The team at Hazelhurst were AMAZING for our fundraising dinner and art auction. We had so much going on - guest numbers changing at the last minute, scrambles with artworks and easels, terrible weather - Lisa and the team were incredibly patient, enthusiastic and helpful. The event was a brilliant success and everyone commented on the amazing food and gorgeous venue. We would absolutely hold an event at Hazelhurst again.
Dropped by for lunch, it was relatively busy. The cafe is a close walk from Gymea station and is situated inside the Hazelhurst gallery. The interior decoration was lovely and there is also outdoor seating with view of the gardens. We ordered the carbonara and the fish and chips. While the food was delicious, we found that the serving sizes were quite small for the price - may not be enough to fill a hungry stomach!
Gourmet food in a relax outdoor settings. Crispy duck salad and their Farmer Baklava pulled pork are must to have dishes. Fancy ice tea is also my favourite!
i always meet up with my girls here for brunch and boy i love the food and the ambience. I highly recommend the Patatas Bravas. It’s slightly more expensive than the surrounding cafes but i’d rather be hanging here cause this is the best cafe in the area the coffee is average so order anything but long black. for the cafe: one of the decorations hanging today was rather low, i kept ducking and i’m only 153cm. it’s a bit of a hazard for anyone taller.
We popped in for lunch, it was busy but a few tables were free. The convenience of the digital menu and ordering is really handy. The food is always good and it's a great space for breaky or lunch.Recommended dishesDuck Salad
The surroundings of Hazelhurst is beautiful with a little creek and sand pit and beautiful scenery with plants. There's also a great Cafe with good seating out on a large deck and also inside great food and coffee . The art gallery is absolutely beautiful with amazing pieces a fantastic afternoon outing for all .
Hi Lisa, James and the Hazelhurst team, What an amazing wedding we had! Thank you all so much for all your hard work before, during and after! The venue looked incredible!!! It was so dreamy, so perfect and full of character. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Nathan who was extra kind and extra cheery! The food…….. The food was better than what I could have ever imagined. It was all so full of flavour and colour and you could literally taste the love!!! Serving it in the middle of the table so everyone could have some of everything and as much or as little as they wanted was brilliant!!! Every meal was delicious but our stand out if that’s possible because they were ALL stand outs was the risotto. My only disappointment with the food was that I couldn’t eat enough of it as I was too full. Thanks again and I’m sure we will see you around at the cafe!
Great place to meet friends. Inside noise, too many hard surfaces. Outside lovely in summer. Staff friendly and helpful.Food: 4/5
We recently had our mini wedding reception at Hazelhurst Cafe and we couldn't have been happier with the venue. Lisa made the process a breeze and we didn't have to worry about anything on the day. We were completely blown away by the delicious food and the styling, and as a bonus it is kid-friendly which we loved. Would recommend cocktails and charceturie board, as well as the beef cheeks and delicious pavlova dessert!
