Adequate is maybe being generous. And Generous is not a word that should be associated with this place either. It's airport prices with 0 regard for quality. Food is mostly deep fried. The other offerings aren't that appealing either. It's shows this is a monopoly as they treat this whole customer base with little regard. I.e. $17.20 for a pint of Pirate Life Pale Ale.
We waited 20 mins for our squid and chips which is fine. But the chips is way too soggy and oily! None of the chips is crispy!
With a few beers on tap and an ok selection of packaged you last chance to get one before boarding a flight. A bit on the expensive side a pint of Pirate Life South Coast plus small glass of Rose wine cost $31. Closed at 1:30am on the Tuesday.Service: 4/5
Service was fine but the regular 2 shot cappuccino was like hot milk. Too weak, too hotFood: 2/5
Ordered a pie. Understandable they sell all frozen goods but ffs WARM IT UP PROPERLY. It already takes over 15’ to get your food. First time came frozen, took it back as yeah it can happen, second round frozen still, I even cut it in half with my hand and the ice was visible. Third time, 10 minutes later… you guest it …still frozen! They could have put a thermometer there to be fancy but any finger would have done the trick Ridiculous prices for literal frozen food.
It would be zero stars but it's not possible! The woman working today who appears to be a supervisor is probably the worst bartender / customer service person I have ever encountered!! Staggeringly poor not only to the customers but also to the flight staff and pilots who walked away complaining about her and saying it's hard to believe she still has a job, I agree! The menu is also terrible and the quality of the food is unbelievably poor considering it's basically nuggets and chips or sandwiches! Perth airport needs to up its game big time with its service provision.
Haymarket's location is convenient but I'm embarrased at the experience our visitors would have eating here, as the last stop of their WA trip. Worst chicken tenders and chips I've ever had - chips were so oily we didn't eat them and the chicken tenders seem to be out of a packet, the cheapest one you can find at the supermarket. Waste of $15. Beer is also severely overpriced at $17 a pint unless you opt for Great Northern.
I’m not surprise about the bad reviews this place has. Personnel is not engage they don’t care and have very bad attitude. Unfortunately this is one of the two places in the airport, so not much of a choice. When we placed the order they forgot to include one of our request and that obviously make a problem, when I went back to pay the other waiter give me a bad face, like if it was my problem. These items plus a beer cost is $45 AUD
Came by for some food before boarding my flight. Service was friendly. I went for the onion rings and the calamari. The onion rings were quite nice. The calamari was ok but it was the rings you get from the freezer. The fries were ok. They do have quite a lot of food options though, all laid out in multiple segments. They also do drinks. I went to the water fountain behind the bar by the toilets for water.
I'm a visitor just travelled to Perth. At 1900 on 24/09/22, I went to the bar and wanted to ask some services. One of their stuff, an old lady firstly ignored my question, and them responded in a bad manner after I asked her second time. Since She doesn't want to show me the menu, I have to go the front desk and speak with another waitress. To my surprise she doesn't seem to be happy to answer my question either. I have traveled to so many cities but this is the first time I feel upset in a bar. I would like to voice out my experience and would never enter that bar anymore
