I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at Harvey Norman Joondalup after purchasing a Breville microwave just six months ago. Unfortunately, it completely stopped working today and wouldn’t turn on at all. I called the store for assistance and was advised to have my partner return the microwave and ask for a staff member named Sam.nnWhen my partner arrived, Sam was busy, and a staff member named Luka came to assist. From the outset, Luka seemed annoyed and dismissive. He didn't even bother to test the microwave before stating that they wouldn’t be offering a refund or replacement, insisting instead that it would be sent off for repairs. This was incredibly frustrating, especially considering that the microwave was a $650 investment and hadn’t even lasted a year.nnLuka's arrogance was evident, and he made it clear that customer concerns were not his priority. He told my partner it would take 30 days for the repairs, completely disregarding our reliance on the microwave for heating up baby food and sanitizing bottles. It’s disappointing that consumer rights didn’t seem to matter in this situation.nnNot everyone can afford to replace a faulty appliance, and it’s disheartening to feel like just another cash cow for a large retailer. My partner left feeling disrespected and frustrated, as Luka’s demeanor was lacking any sign of empathy or understanding.nnI urge others to think twice before purchasing from Harvey Norman Joondalup Electrical Department. If anything goes wrong with your product, you may not receive the support or resolution you expect. This experience has left me disillusioned, and I certainly won’t be returning to this store for future purchases.
Went into look at mattresses and air fryernLady in bedding very helpful and informative.nWish I could say the same for small appliance staff. The air fryers had no price so asked staff member for price, she didn't know said she would find out, but didn't come back to us. Asked Amanda sat at desk looking at computer but he said was to busy to assist.nSo left without an air fryer
