I'm very disappointed with the helium balloons I purchased yesterday afternoon.nI bought them for an event today and was told by paying an extra $9.00 $0.60 per balloon they would last at least 24 hours.nTotal waste of $50.10 because I woke up this morning to find that they didn't even last 16 hours.
We bought Lego and other toys for an upcoming birthday. I now have a seniors card and asked the bloke on the checkout if I was eligible for seniors discount. He said he had no idea, when I asked how I could find out he said he had no idea. I've tried ringing Big W after going through the usual lengthy messages to be told I'd have to wait 1hr 25mins to talk to a representative. Does anyone in Australia know if there's a seniors discount ?
Have shopped here twice this week, first time was around 10am waited at the tech counter for 20 mins no service, walked to the front of the store to see if I could have someone help me in tech, very limited staff, I got told the one staff member working around that area was in the party section and to go back to tech counter and just wait, yesterday I went to buy a oversized heavy item, my son went to get a trolley and there was none, I carried the heavy item to the front and asked the person in service if I could get a trolley for my heavy item, was told there are none in store so I would just have to carry heavy item, walking back through the store we counted 13 trolleys full of empty boxes, trolleys full of products not put away on shelves, we ended up piling one trolley of empty boxes into another so as a customer we could have a trolley, this store is very unmanned, needs more staff and people that are customer friendly
bad attitude from staff at the self serve today. Have more than 1 cash machine available for customers like kmart and target do... and don't be rude and make customers feel bad and almost be bullied into paying by card. Big W are still soo far behind in so many ways your online system and click/collect are a joke and never have stock available even though they show available.
I always shop here never had a problem till today, as a customer I was slowly walking down a isle thinking about my purchase and msg my husband if I got the right thing and in the short time I was walking sending a txt a elderly female worker without a big w work shirt on said to me can I just get passed please with her massive load on her trolley now I understand but she said this so loudly and abruptly and I was 3 steps from leaving the isle. She couldn’t even wait for me to browse and just exit all of 3 seconds I found it so rude as I’m the customer and what was her hurry she couldn’t wait 3 steps for me to be out of her way. I said that is very rude she acted dumb said I just politely asked I’m also not stupid she was clearly irritated by my pace and had to comment instead of waiting 3 seconds. I said no it was rude she continued to say the same thing I said it was rude even when I was in the next isle she was still talking loudly saying she was just asking she wasn’t getting the point I’m the customer and she could have waited I was two isle away and she was still going and she laughed all that effort to be annoyed about my pace and all this annoyance for her to dumb her trolley load to the baby section and walk back 3 seconds of her being impatient for nothing she is in the wrong job customer service is not her strong point and I’m so disappointed she even spoke to me while I was going about my business nasty women she was
