Great little motor camp with clean and we'll maintained facilities. Very hospitable hosts, great sized caravan plots and very handy to town, the estuary, marina, beach and the wharf.nHighly recommended.
Great little holiday park. Got everything we needed. Not new, but everything if functional. Nice mature trees, decent about of shade.nOnly downside is you not allowed to use charcoal BBQ, or open fire. But I think, these days it's true for most of the places.
It's OK, nice seaside access. Not a great place for camping. Sites are very small and can be sandwiched between campers. Better for campervans. Not many toilets for number of sites.
If you're looking for a cheap overnight or accommodation at Whitianga, this is a good place to stay. Right in front of the water and great location close to the town. We stayed in a small room with a double bed and a bunk beds. Can accommodate a family of 4. Has mini fridge and a kettle. No complimentary tea, coffee or water. Have to bring your own. Shared toilets, kitchen and hot shower has limited time 5 minutes. Also wifi has limits. Just a few data within a day then you have to buy if you want. Overall, its a good budget place to stay with a good location.
I spent the last week at Harbourside , the location is great, close to shops restaurants. The grounds are immaculate, great pool, kitchen , bbq, laundry and showers. Office staff is friendly and super helpful. I’ll be back for 2 weeks in February can’t wait!
