We stayed here for about three weeks in February/March 2026.nWe camped in our tent for the majority of the time but stayed in a cabin for the last night so we could get away early for a long drive.nWe loved our stay here.nThe facilities were kept spotlessly clean. We had all our own stuff but the kitchen was well equipped.nThe cabin was comfortable and was exactly what we needed it to be.nThe pool was refreshing and set in a nice relaxing area.nKent and Shannon are just lovely and so are all their staff.nThere are people that live there permanently and I can see why.nGreat location. Close to town but also close to a boat ramp.nBoat washing and fish filleting facilities onsite and also a bait freezer.nWe have booked again for next year and cannot wait for our next visit.

We had a great stay over Matariki weekend. Service was amazing, facilities are clean and tidy. The communal kitchen is probably the best communal kitchen I have seen at any holiday park we have stayed at.nI love that it is a short walk to the town center but far enough away to that you dont hear any real noise.

Very nicely maintained traditional campground with a mix of tourists & semi-permanents. Shower & toilets are spotlessly clean & partly renovated. Showers free press the button just outside the door for 5 mins, good & hot & so very clean.  Laundry is standard Maytag $4 per load $4 per dry plus a good clothesline & plenty of hand washing facilities. Hosts are very friendly& welcoming. It's only 10-15 mins easy level walk to the shops & restaurants. We will certainly stay again next time we come to Whitianga & recommend it.

Everything perfect here for us - could happily just stay & live in the lodge we had! Easy access to well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, but also really easy stroll to town or a number of supermarkets. We were greeted by friendly Shannon who is so welcoming & hospitable, reflected in the sweet community spirit amongst guests. Thank you for having us!

We chose the RIGHT venue to stay recently at Harbourside Holiday Park. Run by Kent and Shannon who were the most obliging people to meet. All facilities including the outdoor pool were very clean and tidy, the grounds just perfectly maintained for our 5th Wheeler to park. Walking distance to the town centre... Highly recommened to all travellers. We will definately return soon. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
