Family owned for three generations, Happy’s Chinese Restaurant promises a true family friendly environment, and welcomes bookings large or small. Six Banquet menus are available, catering for functions and gatherings of five or more people with ease.

Our fully licensed restaurant can easily cater to people with special dietary needs, including a great selection of vegetarian meals.

I Want to keep this place a secret so that it’s not hard to get a seat....... but that would be selfish right....tasty, generous and good value food. Can’t beat that in Canberra.

Love  Happy’s. Been coming for a few years and the standard is always high. Friendly, efficient staff, well cooked Chinese classics always delivered to a high standard. Highly recommend the Spicy eggplant hot pot it’s something special. Good for any occasion and will always recommend to friends and family passing through Canberra

An ok Chinese restaurant with plenty of the standard dishes to order. Very fast service. Cheap wine. Friendly but efficient service. A go to destination if you want a fast relatively cheap meal. I will no doubt visit again.

Am a regular customer at Happy's. We enjoy the ambience, the fast service and food that is consistently good. We bring our interstate visitors along to enjoy the Chef Specials. Highly recommended.

Food and service are very good. Price is reasonable. You need to go down 2 flight of stairs to reach the restaurant, same stairs to go outside.

Super friendly staff - the best fried rice in Canberra, it's the only restaurant I will buy it from and have been doing so since 1974. Also best prawn toast, in fact all of their food is great.
