"1950’s American Rock’n’Roll Diner Themed Restaurant. A memorabe trip back in time to the music, the cars, the movies and of course the food of 1950's America. It all started with a small restaurant in Hervey Bay which was sold and opened bigger and better in Maryborough in 2017. The gateway to the beautiful Fraser Coast and K'Garri Formerly Fraser Island, Maryborough is known as the Heritage City with historic precincts and home to Mary Poppins. Drop in and you will be amazed by the memorabillia and a full 1957 Bel Air Chevrolet car in the middle of our Air conditioned dining room. Heaps to look at, taste and listen to. Don't forget to grab a souvenir from our awesome range of merchandise. You wont be disappointed."

A slice of 50s America in a place you might not expect. While the theme might be set back in time, everything is shining clean and the food is nothing but fresh. Perfect for a stop in breakfast or lunch. The menu is big enough that no one is left out in finding something to suit their tastes but at the same time not overwhelming, I'd especially recommend a smoothie.
Great diner, 60's atmosphere great food good prices, friendly staff and good friendly service. Advise reservations in peak times. Open wed to fri 11am on and weekends check times.. Parking: Plentiful Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and gluten free
What a treasure for Maryborough. Would have to be one of the best 50s Diners in Australia surely! Absolutely spotless diner with lots of memorobilia displayed throughout. Lovely service, delicious food! YOU MUST VISIT HAPPY DAYS DINER IN MARYBOROUGH!!! Suitable for wheelchairs. The only small negative is they are not open monday & tuesdays, so just need to take that into account when making plans
My wife n I went in for a casual Sunday lunch. Staff were super accommodating and super friendly. All the food was totally delicious and filling. The best part is the theme throughout the dinner, right down the staff in the 50/60's style dress', and serving plates n cups. Pricing was fantastic. Well done to all the staff there. Highly recommended.
Beautiful diner and a fun experience listening to retro songs! Food was good and exactly what our parents would tell us NOT to eat Great place for a treat.
Sure it's a pretty quirky and unique spot. We made a detour on our trip to check it out. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The service was slow, the burgers are better at hungry jacks and don't get me started on the soggy chips. It was an expensive stop. But we got some cute family photos ‍
This diner is very cute! The service was great with a good variety of food . The staff were really friendly! One staff member even suggested some things we could do in Maryborough while we were in the area.
Great place to go. Booking a table is so easy and convenient. Food is AMAZING, for people going first time don’t order as much food as what you normally get cause TRUST ME YOU’LL GET FULL the foods just that good. Ordering more is easy as ever too. Great atmosphere and if you want to bring more then 10 people they have room for more. Kid-friendliness: They offer smaller portions for kids. Make sure you bring something for you child to do because it can get boring. Parking: There isn’t a lot so you may need to get there earlier or find parking else where.
We took a trip memory lane at Happy Days Diner Maryborough while we were visiting. Service was great, generous servings I ordered a southern fried chicken slider with chips plenty big enough. Loved the memorabilia.
Tried a few retro theme diners and it's often a very hit or miss experience. These guys have NAILED it. Top shelf shakes, exactly what you want when you picture a thickshake from a diner. Burgers are great, plenty of options, and the chips have THE GREATEST chicken salt known to the planet. Weren't 100% sold from the signs and murals out front having aged a bit but as soon as you walk in, the theme and music are 10/10. Very much worth the visit.
