Overall good experience. Folks that got the chicken packs were happy. However the chicken schnitzel burger schnitzel was very very hardened and dry and we had to throw it out.
Absolutely horrified went to feed a family and thought ohh $10 of chips should be plenty got given a bag that fits our hands! Avoid at all costs and go to the other chip shops in Pirie
The best chips in Adelaide by far are from Chicken Chef. Let's just say chicken chef chips ain't got nothing on Happy birds. The best chips, EVER.
Only got a chicken cut into quarters but was 10 times better than Woolies or Coles chicken. I'm going back today for the same and going to get some of the salads which look great also and plenty of keto friendly to choose from.Food: 5/5
Without a doubt the best hot chips I’ve ever eaten. Anywhere. Would of got 5 stars but although the joint is called happy birds, the bird behind the counter was miserable as hell.
Had a fish pack here with salad the fish was not fresh and the chips all though chunky as I like them were like warm, the tartare sauce tasted and looked like paste. The pasta salad, coleslaw and garden salad was very tasty and fresh had to wait awhile for my order.
Been a favourite place to grab the best chips in South Australia. A family favourite for over 40 yearsFood: 5/5
Love love the food but why are they literally never open, every time I’m come through Pirie they are closed even if it says open on the website? Grrrrr just want a Italian scone
Best chicken hot pack I’ve had in years. Plenty to eat at a great price
Best hot chips around, without a doubt! You won't be disappointed with this shop! So much wonderful food, give it a try for sure, worth the drive!
