Celebrating our Carmen’s coming birthday with Korean hotpot. We were given a joined table away from the crowds allowing the 10 of us to talk and catch up Everyone enjoyed the food ordered even the one who says I don’t eat anything but fish n chips and prawn omelette We could do with a more variety in the side dishes but overall it was a great lunch out. Service was friendly and the food came out fast.
Quick service and you can see the great team work of the staff, as they all support each other to ensure we get our food promptly. This is all to support the great food. Been here twice, getting different dishes each time, and they don't disappoint. The banchan changes, and tastes amazing on their own, not like the commercial chemical tasting ones you can get at the supermarket. The soup variations are great and flavours all work well together. Non soup dishes from the pancakes to the fried chicken can stand on its own as well. Great place. Will be on recommendations to other people
Friends reunions Ordered 2 soups. Very tasty flavour. Not like other restaurants taste like artificial. My favourite it beef intestines. Not too spicy but tender and juicy with potato noodles. Good for groups of friends and family. Staffs are friendly and quick service.
Been there a few times. Great food. Love the pancakes, hot pot and the soups. Generous with the side dishes as well. Service was great and fast. Prepare to wait for a table during peak times.
Great Korean restaurant! Queues were a bit long on a Saturday night. Ordered oyster pancakes, fried pork with cheese and kimchi pork stew. Love every dish. Will definitely be back again. Best to park your car at Strathfield Plaza for the 3 hr free parking.
The soups are good, the grilled fish is also good to order. It seems always quite busy for eating in here. Remember to come earlier for the waiting time. We were waited for 15 to 20 minutes to have a table on Tuesday evening.Recommended dishesSoup
My daughter recommended here and I visited for the first time. The soup was so tasty I think it's the best soup I've ever been to in Sydney. There were so many menus. I would like to visit again.
Well managed and organised Korean soup store in Strathfield. The quick service and authentic Korean soup dishes are awesome here. The cutlery and tissues are well place in a side drawers underneath the table to allow for room for the food = The seafood pancake is one of the tastiest in Sydney as it is not too doughy but rather light and crispy, helps when the seafood contents are generous as well. The beef bone soup was refreshing and very clean to consume. Finally the side dishes were of a good variety with each individual in flavour which paired well the the healthy purple wild rice. Affordable spot for a bowl of good Korean soup.
Lots of sides. But nothing tasting all that great. The soups were hearty and pancakes were nice. Overall food is good. Not amazing. Service was lots of people rushing around but hard to get hold of anyone. Wait is around 30mins. Even arriving before 6pm.
I don’t know why this place rating is 4 but if there is a rating above 5, they would get it!! Food is soooo GOOD. Never in my life I had such good Korean food. I think if you can speak Korean you get some plus points in ordering but menu was in bilingual. The waiter gave us love shapes shot glasses to pair with the Bohae we ordered.
