I would like to thank Hammond care their staff care givers and anyone involved with the care of my husband Geoff Thomas. The carers were the most giving people you could ask for. Unfortunately my husband passed this week and they looked after myself and Geoff as I stayed with Geoff until his passing.  I can't thank you enough and would recommend Hammond Village to anyone looking for somewhere to have there loved one looked after with dignity and care.

If you love your family member or friends do not take them here. Terrible place , no accountability and no initiative taken.

I started looking for a place for my husband who had developed dementia, i was sent places that would have been so inappropriate as my husband was not at the stage of being bed bound or needing to be fed. I thought that I would have to have my husband at home with me for good. One of my friends said she volunteered at a place called Hammond care and to go and have a look, I made an appointment and went to visit. I was greeted  by the admitting manager who showed me the various houses in the village. What I noticed was the friendliness , the residents knew her and she knew them . People of similar level were in each house and I saw that residents were happy with staff . I was then told not to stress about finances she was very reassuring that every thing would work out and at that point I was not going to look any  where  else  no matter how long it would take for my husband to be admitted.nI find that the staff are so supportive and if I am visiting at any of the meal times I am offered a meal with my husband. The food is cooked fresh and residents come to the kitchen as they would at their home even like folding material napkins and setting tables. I highly recommend Hammond Care for your love ones.

Hammondcare Caulfield is the best in the EastnVery caring and collaborative team with supportive management with active engaging lifestyle towards clients and residents with an utmost care.nIn hammondcare it's not just a residential community centre. It's more than that, they make the residents feel like home. They make the residents feel empowered by giving them all the freedom and fulfilling their needs.nWe have a wonderful manager named Charles who works very hard to keep the team involved and updated to the latest guidelines, Michelle a beautiful HR whose very supportive and understanding and a pastrol care Joanne whose always there for team for some mental support.nI had a pleasure to work with them for last 3 years. Couldn't say more, I had a whale of time working with them. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants to enrol their loved family member or even a newcomer who wants to explore their career in this industry. Good luck!
