About

Hamerkaz Centre is a dynamic community and education centre in Melbourne. It's the home of Lamdeni School and KaTeeny Early Learning Centre.

Story

It began in 1998 and has since blossomed into two vibrant centres that cater for the social, spiritual and educational needs of the community.

From a synagogue to the ever growing Lamdeni School, from KefKidz Holiday and Teen Programs to Women Circle functions, from popular Purim Festivals to the nationally acclaimed Bat Mitzvah Academy, the Hamerkaz Centre has been at the forefront of developing one of the most dynamic and flourishing Jewish communities in Victoria.

With its warm and inviting approach, the Hamerkaz Centre is a place where people from all walks of life - regardless of background, affiliation or level of observance - feel welcome and at home.
