Absolutely blown away with the level of care you give my little “child” Charlie : Geoff is so fantastic with the dogs and Charlie can’t wait to jump out of car to go in. The facilities are so so clean and all the dogs always seem so happy. I would travel however far to know my boy is this happy. Can’t thank you guys enough!
Our dog was so filthy and was covered in mud when we picked him up. Understand that it was raining. But, they shouldn't have let the dogs playing outside when it was raining and muddy. Took our dog to the dog wash right after, since their bath service is so expensive I think their bath service is like over $40 or something, CMIIW about the price.
We have been a loyal customer of HPPR for over 17 years. Our dogs get excited just arriving and are always so well looked after and loved by the team.
We take our pets here for doggy day care and also boarding and they love it, staff are very friendly and really care about you pets!

Left my dog there for a weeks stay felt a rushed introduction when I arrived to check dog in considering there was no one else waiting, my dog led off to the kennels with a large gauge piece of green rope as a lead dropped around his neck, payed the extra fee to have my dog treated to a Hydro bath which wasn’t even done as when picking him up smelling like a tip rat, don’t know how often then bedding is cleaned Geoff didn’t even bother returning my call.. yes kennels well positioned with a vet clinic close by as this was the first time I left my pet there, if I require the services of a boarding kennel in the future I will be going elsewhere!!!!
Our animals love coming to the kennel! The staff know them by name and remember their needs, and are so welcoming! It's great to know there is a vet on site to ensure peace of mind. Our dog is always excited when we arrive at the kennels, and exhausted and happy when we get him home!
Back in 2017 we decided to board our dog here while we went away for the weekend. It seemed like a nice place, and they assured us that because he was under 10kg that he would be sleeping in one of their "deluxe" cottages. When we went to pick him up after his stay, something was not right. When we got him back to the car, we noticed that his bottom was bright red and completely raw, so we went back to confront the staff about it, as we were shocked that he could be in such poor condition. When we questioned the staff about it they responded that it was nothing to be concerned about and it didn't look bad at all. We questioned them as to whether he had exhibited his anxious trait of scooting on his bottom. They then flippantly said that it was probably due to the rough concrete floor of the cage that he was in. We were furious as we had been assured that he would be in a cottage and not one of their cages. We told them that it was shocking that they hadn't noticed the wound, and that when this anxious behavior happens, that we normally put an Elizabethan collar on to prevent him from licking it. They then turned around and tried to blame us for not bringing his collar, despite the fact that he doesn't normally need it, and we assumed that he would be well looked after and not need it. After getting nowhere we decided to leave and get him straight to the vet for it to be looked at. The next few weeks where some of the worst weeks of my life. Shortly after his bottom had healed, he began showing symptoms of a mystery illness. Despite countless vet visits, tests, medication and even a small stint in a specialist emergency vet clinic, he eventually passed away at the age of nine, not even a month after coming home from the kennels. Our vet with over 30 years of experience concluded that it was most likely some kind of illness that he had contracted at the kennels, possibly relating to the bottom infection. She said that unfortunately this is all to common with boarding facilities that don't take proper care of the animals. My boy was only nine, and as a small breed dog he should have lived a lot longer. He was my best friend, and I'll never get over the guilt I feel at having him board at these kennels.
We took our late family dog Roxy to Hallam Park Pet Resort for many years and every time we picked her up she was in fabulous condition and well looked after. The staff were very friendly and always happy to see us. Would and do recommend to anyone wanting to leave their pet in the best care.
After inspecting a few pet boarding kennels, we settled on Hallam Park Pet resort as it was highly recommended by a friend. Unlike some other places which are operating in a large scale, Hallam Park Pet Resort is a smaller boarding kennel and we felt that our 3 year old rescue would be receiving more personal attention. We are very happy with the decision and we feel that our boy had wonderful time there. The dogs are getting a long play time each day, and on hot days they even had a pool.
