Story

The Hallam Hotel was established in 1872 and is situated approximately 40 kms south-east from Melbourne's C.B.D. (About half an hour travelling off-peak on the M1). We offer friendly bistro dining, TAB/sports bar, private function rooms, BWS drivethough bottleshop and a broad and eclectic range of entertainment.

Recent awards that the venue has won include the 2009 AHA National Award for Best Marketed Venue, the 2008 AHA State Award for Best Entertainment Venue and as well as the 2008 AHA State Award for Best Marketed Venue.

Great food & service. Meals come out fast. & they have the best chicken schnitzel.

Staff are friendly & helpful Thanks Megan. Meal sizes, way to big, I had a stir-fry that could of fed a family of 4. Maybe add option of entre or main sizing. More options on drink specials would be nice. VB .
Nice place, and very accommodating this week when I forgot to make a booking . The only thing I wish was that they had some craft beer from any of the local Vic breweries. Only really Carlton, furphy VB, kind of beers. Didn't eat this time, but food is usually quite good.
