Hakataya ramen is some of the best ramen outside of Japan, always delicious and prepared with care. An absolute favourite of ours. Staff are brilliant and kind and the ramen always comes out fast, hot and tasty. In fact writing this review has made me want to go down and order some ramen so I think I might just do that
I find the owner really rude and I have definitely had much better ramen else where. Way too overpriced for the amount of food that we are getting, definitely won’t come back.
The pork noodle soup is really nice, the trick is you need to order extra pork and free extra noodle. And you will find the value is super good and super tasty. Friendly staff, quick service. Recommended. The photo is my empty bowl. Feels good.
Great tasting Ramen - definitely highly recommend eating here! The Value Meal is true Value for $.. $17.50 for Classic Ramen +extra Chasu Pork slices+Extra Noodles Kaedama+Can of Soda
The soup was very good. However, for our Chinese, who have been growing up with eating hand made noodle, the noodle can still be improved.
Way overpriced. $14 for a bowl of noodle with 2.5 slices of pork. Note it's 2.5 and not 3. The chef takes his time to make sure the third slice is just half a slice. The broth is watered down and very oily - likely watered down with oil. Heaps better alternatives out there for $14.
Nice soup and noddles
Had the original and spicy ramen, pork broth are light and easy to digest. Each bowl came with Japanese veg side dish that complement the ramen nicely. Cups, water and cutlery are self service in a corner station. Been here 6 years ago and glad to come back as we revisited Surfers Paradise. Love this joint
