Story

Gympie Veterinary Services is one of Queensland's largest mixed animal veterinary practices. There are 13 veterinarians employed at the practice and in excess of 30 staff. The practice services all animals and our veterinarians travel as far as Rainbow Beach, Imbil, Maryborough, Tansey and Goomeri and even beyond. Our veterinarians have wide ranging experiences and backgrounds and they are all constantly attending courses of continuing education which allows us to offer the best services and most up to date information to all of our patients and clients. Gympie Veterinary Services also has strong relationships with various specialists in all fields of veterinary medicine. Gympie Veterinary Services is open 5 1/2 days per week and offers an after hours service which is available 365 days per year.

My experience with Gympie Veterinary Services has always been great. Staff are always friendly and attentive and animals are always in good hands here. While car parking is limited I've never had an issue parking in here before, and the building is always clean and well maintained.

The worst veterinary surgery we have ever had to deal with. My daughter rang Gympie vets in desperate need of help to save her dying horse. The receptionist was so rude to her and finally when she spoke to a vet they said they would not treat her horse. My daughter was sobbing over the phone, pleading, saying she will die, the vet said 'tough, so be it'. and hung up on my daughter. Yes our horses are vaccinated. Gympie Veterinary service is a disgrace. They pick and choose who they will let live and who will die a slow cruel death. So unprofessional.  Shame on you.

Great staff, cheap but very professional and quality service and advice, feels pleasantly out of place for its locale. Highly recommend!
